Can't wait for Clio Phones? CallConnector.ai gets your calls into Clio today

On October 26 at ClioCon 2026, Clio announced Clio Phones, a business phone system built right into Clio. With recording turned on, it records, transcribes and summarizes each call, can create a time entry from the call's duration, and files the call to the contact's matter.
It's a big moment for how law firms handle calls, and the problem it tackles is real. In Clio's own survey, firms reported losing an average of 4.6 billable hours a month to unlogged call time. That's the same problem CallConnector.ai was built to solve, so we're glad to see Clio putting it centre stage.
What is Clio Phones?
Clio Phones is a business phone system built right into Clio, announced at ClioCon 2026 on October 26. When a call comes in, Clio Phones shows the matching contact, lead or matter. With recording on, it records, transcribes and summarizes each call, and it can create a time entry from the call's length and file the call to the right matter. Firms can get a new local number or move their existing one to Clio.

- Recordings and transcripts. On the Way Better plan, recording links and AI transcripts are embedded in the Communication record in Clio. On RingCentral, transcripts are available for calls you record manually during the call. On Dialpad, transcripts come from Dialpad's own AI, which you turn on in your Dialpad settings.
- Texts and faxes too. Texts are logged as Communications. On Way Better, faxes are saved as Documents in Clio.
- Simple pricing. The Free plan covers unlimited call and SMS logging at $0 per license. Way Better is $49 per license, billed monthly, and adds transcription, AI summaries, recording storage in your own cloud storage, and fax logging. You can cancel from your billing settings.
